Wasn't it beautiful, weren't we cool... Oh those days! We used to mix tapes for ourselves, our friends and... for the cutest girls whom we would impress with personalized tapes, full of music they didn't know yet. For hours we would lock ourselves in our rooms, alone with records, 12"-s, singles, a turntable and a tape-deck. A perfect mix of two times 45 minutes, and you will be remembered for ever!

Who does not remember the time 'auto reverse' was introduced? Wow! That was innovation! And innovation lasted: now we have Spotify! An online library with a wide range of artists and genres! And with the possibility to share it with your friends.

Concept

Strangelove (a creative advertising agency in Amsterdam) had the idea to ask music professionals to make a Mixed Tape - a playlist in Spotify. A very simple idea with a really nice result!

Starting her career as a danser she came down with the DJ virus in 1996 when she lost control on Miami’s Winter Music Conference. Soon she became the face of German Eurodance group ‘Nomansland’ with hits ’7 seconds’ and ‘Fantasy’. A year later her DJ career was a fact.

I love loads of different styles of music so it wasnt easy to make a favourite list. I'm an electro dj and a live electro/punk/rock artist. But my favourite music to play at home for sure will be rock music. I love the lyrics, the heavy guitars, the raw and edgy sounds wich all together gets me in a great mood and gives me loads of inspiration. It broadens my horizon and keeps me rebellious for my time behind the turntables and on stage.
