Background
Wasn't it beautiful, weren't we cool... Oh those days! We used to mix tapes for ourselves, our friends and... for the cutest girls whom we would impress with personalized tapes, full of music they didn't know yet. For hours we would lock ourselves in our rooms, alone with records, 12"-s, singles, a turntable and a tape-deck. A perfect mix of two times 45 minutes, and you will be remembered for ever!
Who does not remember the time 'auto reverse' was introduced? Wow! That was innovation! And innovation lasted: now we have Spotify! An online library with a wide range of artists and genres! And with the possibility to share it with your friends.
Concept
Strangelove (a creative advertising agency in Amsterdam) had the idea to ask music professionals to make a Mixed Tape - a playlist in Spotify. A very simple idea with a really nice result!

Whether Baskerville plays with a live band or as a DJ act, this Electro Disco producers duo from the Netherlands leaves no room for catching your breath.
Their debut album ‘Disco Biscuits’ was launched in the summer of 2010 at Lowlands, Holland’s biggest national/international festival. The album induced a stream of positive response and therewith loads of airplay on both national radio and television.
Barely a year after the first single ‘Ready To Blow’ was released Baskerville won a national Dance Award for Best New Live Act and got nominated for three 3FM Awards for Best Serious Talent, Best Live Act and Best Dance Act.
In the meantime Baskerville did their first club tour, played at several big festivals such as Reloaded, Qbase and Sziget and remixed tracks for among others Knobsticker, Pete Philly and Dem Slackers.
